Excuse me while I rant...

Why can't T.V. Shows end happy?

I just got done watching Dawson's Creek (I know...I am a little behind). And I am extremely depressed by how they chose to end it. I mean really, Pacey and Joey??? Especially after killing a main character- you would think they could at least end it on a good note and have Joey end up with Dawson!

Then as I was thinking, it seems like every show ends on a bad note. 7th heaven, Gilmore girls, Buffy, Desperate Housewives. They end "happy" but not what the viewers want.

It's like, after all these years I faithfully watching these characters grow in their fictional lives with unrealistic circumstances, the producers/writers/whoever, try to leave the show on a "realistic" note.


Blah.
