To the one you love [Joseph]

I love my husband.
I think he is FANTASTIC.
In fact, I think he can do everything.

[DISCLAIMER: I hate those post's that say, "My husband is the best ever". You have only had ONE husband, how would you know? And It seems that the more you get, the less certain they become...and this is NOT one of those posts or a lovey-dovey post. End rant.]

Growing up, your dad is superman. And it rocks. I still think my dad knows everything (He watched jeopardy all the time, duh!)
But then you get married, and your husband becomes this new superhero. And having 2 superheroes, it rocks!

But then, after the wedding and honeymoon, life begins to settle in. And now, instead of being protected all the time, you get to help each other, and hopefully, be blessed to protect your own little family who looks at you like superheroes.

Joe is the best husband ever, for ME.
He know's me, better than I know him it seems.
He sacrifices for me.
He makes me happy, and smile, and laugh.
And that is all so very, very important to me.

He knows about agriculture, science, computers, cars, guns, bikes, animals, politics, government, foreign matters, he know's so much, that he really is a "Jack-of-all-trades". And I am SO PROUD OF HIM.

I am so incredibly proud that he got into Grad school.
That he is sacrificing himself to BETTER OUR FUTURE.
That as much as he hates school, he is pushing through for ME and SARIAH. Not for himself.
That he is becoming a better HIM (unintentionally).
He could be content being a Janitor, if it was honest and hard working work.
But he goes on, and does it for us.
And don't all MEN?  (Notice I mean real men, not wussy men.)

I am constantly looking for little ways to inspire him.
To support him.
To encourage him.

I am happy with our life, and SO excited about where we are headed.
But more than anything, I want him to be happy about it.
And isn't that what being married is all about?
Making life enjoyable with the one you love? Making the other HAPPY?

So, this is for HIM. For the man who I married for TIME & ETERNITY.
Tell the on you love, encourage, inspire, but most importantly. MAKE THEM SMILE.

[WARNING: PICTURE OVERLOAD}

Because we all need a little Cash in our life =]

In fact, I believe that in the end, it will all be okay. If it's not okay, it's not the end.
(Or, in the end it will all be all correct. It it's not all correct, it's not the end).

This is what I want for us. For our children. I want to experience.
Gotta like literature.

  1. I love the ark vs Titanic quote!! Ha, Melissa and I would end up saying the "my husband is the best" thing all the time and we'd counter each other "Nooo, actually MINE IS."
