Penny for your thought?

+I miss the days of wondering, "how many licks to reach the center of a tootsie pop", instead of, "how many days till all the political hype dies down and I can go back on FB?"

+I am making this Pumpkin Swril Brownie dessert right now. Pretty excited.

+20-30 min seems to be about the perfect amount of time for 90% of occasions.

+Sariah fell asleep right before we got to the library today. For 30 min I was allowed to walk around, look and read all I want without a time stamp or a toddler bent on re-arranging the library.
It's the simple things we tend to forget and miss.

+What colors would go best with purple in a bedroom? I thought green/brown, but now I'm leaning grey/yellow. Specifically something like this:

A penny for your thoughts, anyone?
(fyi- I like the reverse where you give me a penny to listen to your thoughts. =] But I will listen regardless of that penny).

  1. Wait...someone's trying to get rid of the penny?!? That's ridiculous.

I was going to mention that depending on your color of purple, gray goes really well. I like a dark purple and a light grey mixture. It looks really pretty together!

  2. Good heavens I wish I could smell your kitchen after you bake that! I like the grey tones. plus I heard a secret that using grey in your linens/bedding lasts longer because even if it fades, it's still trendy!

  3. Ya, I am pretty sure grey and purple are a good mix. They are similar, but I really like the idea of it. Plus they are on the neutral side, to help sleep and all. =]
