Joe and I teach the sunbeams (3-4 year olds) at church. Today was our first day.
It was eventful.
One kid decided to keep running away from class, causing the other kids "needing" to chase him to get him back. It ended up with all the kids running into the chapel where all their dads were having priesthood- starring at me as I interrupted their lesson, dragging their children away.
Great first day, huh? At least one father after church was kind enough to tell me he had to really hold back busting out laughing.
The cutest thing ever also happened. I asked a little girl, Hailey, to give the opening prayer. Her father is currently working in Montana- and her ENTIRE prayer consisted of various versions of, "please protect my daddy while he is in Montana". So cute. The best part was when she said, "I pray that I will stay his little princess."
:) Sooo cute.
The end.
