August is a busy month for us- especially this year. Sariah is turning 3 in less than 2 weeks, and in just one week, my handsome little boy turns ONE! It is going by much too fast.
I am sorry to say that I don't have anything witty or funny to share. But how about an update?
Seamus has a sweet tooth that puts mine to shame (and that is saying something).
Not walking yet (which is just fine), but he LOVES to climb.
Today we went for a hike, and he was climbing all over the rocks and playing in the dirt. He is turning into quite the typical little boy.
He doesn't like to sit in his stroller- prefers to stand, which gets me frustrated so I have to strap him in- which in turn makes him frustrated. It puts a cramp in our many walks we take.
He loves straws. Cars. Balloons. Peanut Butter. And the bathroom. And headphones- boy oh boy, he will have those things in his mouth faster then you knew you left them out.
Sariah loves all things girly. But still likes to look at bugs and look for frogs (or toads).
She loves to play in the sand.
Loves to help us cook/bake.
Loves her brother.
She says funny things. I wish I could explain or think of something, but just watching a toddlers/preschoolers thought process as they learn to talk is amusing.
We will be moving soon- which we really haven't told anyone about other then our family. Joe is finished taking classes for his Masters, and he is so excited to be done! Scratch that. We are ALL so excited for him to be done! And proud. He has worked so hard these last two years. He accepted a job in Pierre, South Dakota! We are all excited about this new adventure and the job. South Dakota will be different, but we are ready to move! Well, except for all the packing that has not been done yet. I will wake up and it will be done, right?
We will miss where we live right now. Living in a 'small' town has its perks. And we love the people in the area (especially those we go to church with), so many nice people. But, we are moving on with life and new adventures await!
That is SUCH a huge accomplishment that he completed his Master's degree. Congratulations!!!
