We has about 2 weeks notice before we had to leave for Nebraska, and when we got here- we had no where to live. We spent an entire day driving around (with a very cranky baby) the city, looking at places, calling numbers, and checking Craigslist every 5 minutes.
Finally, a mobile home park came up- with NEW mobile homes that look nice, 3 br/2 bath, a semi-yard, in our price range and allowed dogs.
It was a no-brainer.
We haven't had too many problems, and have discovered that the location is actually perfect.
But now here is the catch: your neighbors.
Which yes, are and can be a problem no matter where you live.
But for some off reason, people in mo Ike home parks like to "renovate" their mobile home.
Like our neighbors next door.
Granted, their place was a dump and looked horrible- and they just moved in. But still- when there is a giant hole in our home a few feet wide, concerns come up.
But not to these folks. Last week they patched up that distasteful hole.
Joe and my question to ourselves, "did they make sure all the animals were out of it first?"
Later that day as we were headed out, I saw two birds that kept trying to get into the hole. After about 10 minutes they gave up and flew away.
I just hope they were starting to build a neat and not on their way home to feed their kids.
